The Shepparton store took out the top local area marketing initiatives in Victoria/Tasmania, brand ambassador and top sales growth in Victoria/Tasmania.
Owner Annmarie McBain was shocked and grateful to be recognised for her work.
Ms McBain said the store was awarded for the work in supporting local events and businesses in the Shepparton area.
‘‘I am always looking for ways to partner with events, clubs and associations as it is great way to assist with fundraising, meeting new people in the community and showcasing the Wendy’s Milk Bar brand,’’ she said.
The awards also acknowledged some local marketing initiatives and off-site catering events in the Shepparton Wendy’s On Wheels van, which Ms McBain said allowed them to bring hot dogs, shakes and ice creams onto the road.
‘The awards have given me even more confidence to push myself even further and we are looking at even more exciting adventures that we hope to announce very soon,’’ she said.
Wendy's Milk Bar is celebrating its 40th birthday on July 31. To celebrate, a social media competition is running to give away 500 Shake ‘n’ Dog combos for people who share their favourite Wendy’s Milk Bar memory or picture.
