A family has bought it to live in the main church rather than leasing it out.
The 2000 sq m block on Poplar Ave, Orrvale, hosts two historic church buildings.
Church one has been converted to a modern three-bedroom home, and the second church has been set up to be a studio with split-level workspaces.
The previous owner, Cheryl Hammer, who sold the property, leased The Churches as luxury accommodation, winning gold and bronze awards at the Victorian Tourism Awards.
The main building dates back to the early 1900s and was used as a Presbyterian church from about 1913.
Another church converted to residential living, on Violet Town Rd, Kialla East, is slated for auction on Saturday, April 2.
Holy home: The renovated church in Kialla East.
The original brick church, built in 1954, has been renovated into a five-bedroom, three-bathroom modern home, 17km from Shepparton.
