Held annually, the Sunbeams in Aus Rally sees dozens of Sunbeam motorcycle enthusiasts come together to share their bikes and see the sites of Australia.
About 20 Sunbeam motorcycles were in Shepparton for this year's rally, with the owners spending three days on the road heading across the region.
Rally host Tony Farrell said the group travelled to Rushworth and Murchison and back on Friday.
``Today (Saturday) we're going through to Dookie and doing the silo trail and then onto Yarrawonga ... and tomorrow we go to Euroa for the Euroa Show and Shine.”
Motorcycle enthusiasts travelled from across the country for the rally, with people coming from Darwin, Brisbane, Sydney and Canberra.
John Price came from Katherine in Northern Territory for the Shepparton rally with his Sunbeam motorcycle he assembled himself.
Taking seven years to complete, Mr Price was the only person in the Northern Territory who owned a Sunbeam.
“I come to these rallies to mix with other Sunbeam owners and look at their bikes,” he said.
Manufactured in England by Sunbeam Cycles, between 1912 and 1956, the motorcycle brand included the iconic S7 and S8 models of which only about 5000 were made.
Mr Farrell said most of the bikes at the weekend's rally were S7 and S8 models, which were built ahead of their time with overhead cans, wet stumps and a rubber mounted motor.
Mr Farrell said the rally was shaping up to be another successful year with enthusiasts able to come together and share their piece of motoring history.
“It's all about camaraderie, we catch up with other Sunbeam riders and it's all good progress for the Sunbeam motorcycles,” he said.
