There are few artists in our region who could claim to transform scrap metal — like old Victorian-style bed ends — into unique, totally out-of-this-world, yet classy works of sculpture art.

However, Tank and Steve Tobin from Tank and Tobin Sculpture Works are doing exactly that, and on Saturday, August 16, you can see their creations on display.
Where, you ask? At the Shepparton Brewery.
“We’ll have some amazing new sculptures on show, and there’s a bit of a steampunk flavour to this one, with a great range of sizes and prices,” Tank said.
“It runs from 12pm to 3pm, but last time we sold out in two hours, so I urge people to get in early.
“The brewery is a beautiful industrial space that complements our artworks perfectly, alongside the local beers and tasty food.”
With some old favourites making a return for those who missed out last time, the duo is excited to bring back a few crowd-pleasers while also unveiling a heap of their newest creations.
From affordable and sweet tiny homes, to a pelican made of parts from an antique reaper binder that’s over 100 years old, to a Queen Bee with steampunk elegance, a range of quirky baby birds, and so much more — there’s something to capture every imagination.
Tand and Steve have built their business from the ground up in the Goulburn Valley and believe keeping their exhibitions local is the best way to showcase their work.
“Our open days at the sculpture workshop attract hundreds of visitors, which is really great to see,” Steve said.
“This weekend will hopefully be just as big.
“Come down, say hi, grab a beer and a pizza, and enjoy the atmosphere.”
