School yards are full and buses are back up and running — the new school term has arrived.

The News wasn’t ready to leave the holidays behind, so we asked Mooroopna North Primary School students what they did to keep their holidays exciting.

Lauren Jefferis

I went camping at Mafeking. I got to spend four days with all my friends — we did lots of activities, like crate stacking. I want to go back next year.

Hugh Winn

I went mini-golfing, I like it a lot. I like how you have to get it around the obstacles. There was one hole where I got a hole-in-one!

Mason Knight

I had my birthday party. I turned nine. There were a lot of fun activities and we had Fanta, lemonade, freckles and M&Ms. My favourite present was every present — I liked them all.

Chase Morgan

I went to watch the new Mario movie. It was awesome because they defeated Bowser and went on a huge mission. I also went to Rebound, which is a trampoline park. There’s a big playground too.

Sadie King

I went to my grandma’s and grandpa’s for three whole days and one [day] at my aunty’s. I got to spend time with my cousins and play with them, but I also got to stay at my grandma and grandpa’s all by myself!
