The nine-month-old daughter of deceased stabbing victim, Ashlee Good, has been released from hospital as her family’s GoFundMe reaches almost $800,000.
On Sunday, April 21, Harriet was discharged from Sydney Children’s Hospital in Randwick, following her admission on April 13 from stab wounds sustained during the violent attack.
“In a positive development, I can confirm the child who has been receiving care at Sydney Children’s hospital following (the April 13) tragic events at Bondi Junction has been discharged home,” NSW Health Minister Ryan Park said.
“She continues to receive care from the expert clinicians at Sydney Children’s Hospital.”
Harriet was initially in ICU for her injuries, and was moved to a ward on Tuesday, April 16.
The GoFundMe for Harriet and her father, Dan, has received over $799,000 in donations as of Sunday, April 28.
Organised by Steven Foxwell, a close friend and colleague of the late Ms Good, the funds will be directed to Dan and Harriet to support them financially.
