A 35-year-old Corowa man has been charged after a quantity of drugs was located at his home during a search by Albury Proactive Crime Team.
The man received conditional bail and is due to appear at Albury Local Court on June 11.
Another 35-year-old male occupant was issued with a field court attendance notice for possessing a prohibited drug and is due to appear at Corowa Local Court on July 31.
Corowa Police Sergeant Stephen Marshall said police were aware of the town’s drug suppliers and were continually seeking information from the community that would assist in applying for search warrants.
“Every little bit of information, no matter how small, allows us to paint a picture to the courts and hopefully assist in getting search warrants to target these individuals profiting off others’ addictions,” Sgt Marshall said.

Banned woman copped $550 fine
A 51-year-old Corowa woman visited Club Corowa after being banned and was in an agitated and intoxicated state.
Given that all staff were aware of this woman, police were contacted and spoke to the woman who initially refused to leave until police persuaded her and issued a $550 fine for failing to quit.
Thieves at it again
Corowa Police are reminding residents to be vigilant in securing their houses and vehicles as a number of unknown people were taking advantage of unsecured property.
This was the case on Tuesday, May 20 when unknown people entered a vehicle parked outside 63 Sanger Street, Corowa between 5-6pm and stole an Ipad tablet. Police are also investigating the theft of two bikes, a yellow Focus mountain bike and dark blue DeVinci mountain bike stolen from a Redlands Road address on Sunday, May 25.
