Nicole Karl will celebrate the milestone when the Redlegs take on Murchison-Toolamba in a round seven clash, with her career at Tallygaroopna stretching back to 1995 — where she won a premiership and a club best-and-fairest award in her first season.
Since then she has added 279 more C-grade games — along with 19 in B-grade — as well as two more premierships and another best-and-fairest gong as a player.
Karl also works hard off the court for the club and has for her entire stint at Tallygaroopna Recreation Reserve.
‘‘It’s an unreal achievement,’’ Tallygaroopna netball operations manager Madison Brett said.
‘‘Three hundred games regardless of the grades they’re in is massive and I’m sure she’ll be around the club for a long time even when she stops playing.
‘‘She started back in 1995 and took a few years off to have kids, but has always been around the club, and has coached for the last few years as well.’’
Such is the trend of sticking around at Tallygaroopna though that Karl is still outside the top 10 in terms of games played for the club — with number 300 ranking her 11th all-time.
‘‘It is a testament to the club,’’ Brett said.
‘‘It’s very family-orientated and everyone loves being here.’’
