Road detours

Road rehabilitation works involving road closures are in place for the Lockington and Bamawm areas.

Hold tight - we’re checking permissions before loading more content

From now until the end of June, detours will be in place as works are completed on Singer Rd, Bamawm, between Bamawm Rd and Lowe Rd, and Panoo Rd, Lockington, between Johnson Rd and Locking Rd.

Detours are in place with signage.

Calling young water heroes

Coliban Water is inviting young artists across the region to step up as water heroes by entering the 2026 National Water Week poster competition.

The annual competition encourages preschool and primary school students to design a poster inspired by a water-related theme.

This year’s theme, Water Heroes Make Every Drop Count, invites young people to think creatively about the value of water and the small everyday actions that help protect it.

Entries will be judged based on creativity, visual impact, and connection to the theme, with prizes available for winners.

The initiative is to encourage the next generation to value and protect water resources.
