In November, Berrigan Shire libraries are hosting free presentations by local speech pathologists in partnership with Speech Pathology Australia and the Australian Library Association.
The presentations are focused on helping parents and carers to develop language and literacy for children aged 0-5 years at home.
The Berrigan presentation will be held Tuesday, November 28 at 10.30am.

The Berrigan Amateur Dramatic Society is excited to present a Musical Spectacular this Sunday at 2pm.
The venue is the Memorial Hall, and our local talent will be showcased.
Artists include Ben Stonnill, Nic Renneberg, Dan Barnes, Tamara Graham, Tess Wooden, Louise Glanvill and Kath Harris.
Tickets are $25 and can be paid by cash at the Berrigan Bookshop or by card at eventbrite.com.au (search ‘Berrigan’ to find the event).
There will be no allocated seats. Afternoon tea is provided, and there will be a wine and beer bar with cash only option.
All ticket proceeds will go to the Berrigan Memorial Hall.

Also on Sunday, there will be a weeding bee held at Amaroo Gardens parking area from 9am to 11am.
Can you spare an hour or two?
Amaroo needs assistance to create some new native gardens, but first the weeding must be done.
Meeting area will be at the back of the independent living area, off Whitney St.
Morning tea will be provided at the conclusion. All welcome.
