Design work for the Cobram Scott Reserve Pavilion, the Thompsons Beach Masterplan, the Punt Rd Reserve and implementation of the Cobram Drainage Plans are key projects for the town in the coming year.
Chair administrator Dr Graeme Emonson PSM said council is focused on supporting Cobram through current economic challenges while planning for future growth.
"These investments into planning activities and initiatives in the next 12 months form part of our commitment to Cobram's long-term livability and ultimately prosperity," Dr Emonson said.
"We're working closely with local businesses, developers, community organisations and other levels of government on these planning activities to ensure Cobram continues to capitalise on opportunities for growth."
The Thompsons Beach Masterplan has received $900,000 for planning and concept design, with completion expected by March 2027, funded jointly by the Federal Government and Council.
"Thompsons Beach is an iconic Murray River destination and central to Cobram's identity and tourism appeal," Dr Emonson said.
"The masterplan will identify future enhancements for recreational and tourism opportunities while protecting the natural environment (and) creating a precinct that benefits both visitors and locals."
