“I’ve been helping out with the servicing of cars and other things.”
“I’ve started every day at 8am and finished at 5pm, and worked mostly with Ethan (Connolly) and Rowey (Jayden Rowe).”
Reagan said he chose the business because he had been looking to “go into the mechanical workspace as a mechanic or in the future in the engineering space”.
Overall, Reagan said he’d had learned plenty of useful skills across the week.
“It’s been really good. I’ve really enjoyed it and I learned a fair bit and learned what it takes to service a car, and give it a full service.”
Business owner Kevin De Kryger said the team has enjoyed having Reagan join the team temporarily.
Mr De Kryger has a history of employing young people out of Deniliquin High School, with Ethan Connolly, Tom Wallace and Aydan Matthews part of his team.
He said it highlights the work experience success story.
