College staff and students gathered to commemorate the 1915 Gallipoli landing and to honour the service and sacrifice of all Australians in wars and conflicts.
As part of the ceremony, students placed wreaths, with a group also taking to the stage to perform a moving rendition of the Australian national anthem using sign language.
RSL representative Clive Toms attended as a guest speaker, sharing a poem and a story about his uncles who were bombed on a ship near Papua New Guinea.
Mr Toms explained to the students the vital community work the RSL undertakes in Kyabram and surrounding areas, while supporting veterans and their families.
Kyabram P-12 College chaplain Liz Spicer shared a story of teenager Leonard Knight, who was shot during battle, with the bullet miraculously lodging in the Bible placed in his top pocket, just missing his heart.
The original Bible still remains with the Knight family.
