It was the kids’ time to shine at the Shamrock Hotel in Echuca, singing up a storm at karaoke.

Young rockstars graced the main stage at the pub on Sunday, August 10 in the first event of its kind, planned by Dave Chick.
Josh Trevena celebrated his 21st birthday, belting out tracks such as How Do I Say Goodbye by Dean Lewis and Ghost by Justin Bieber.

The Shammy karaoke mainstay opened up the floor to an under-18 audience, a different crowd to his Saturday night crew.
From 2pm, singers and their support teams flocked to the beer garden for the show, with requests coming in thick and fast.
The crowd has a boogie to Aarush Bhatia’s rendition of 9 to 5 by Dolly Parton.

Among the performers was Josh Trevena, marking his 21st birthday by singing some of his favourite tracks.
Aarush Bhatia worked the crowd, belting out songs such as We Will Rock You by Queen, Sunroof by Nicky Youre and Dazy, and 9 to 5 by Dolly Parton.

The event was an international affair, with Japanese exchange students from Australian Christian College Echuca both in the audience and in the limelight.
Osaka’s own Yuna Miyamoto and Mitzuki Ehara performed their rendition of Idol by Yoasobi, showing Echuca audiences how the Japanese invention is done.

Mr Chick said the pub would happily host another kids’ karaoke event in the future, with dates and details to come.
