A 20-year-old man was flown to a Melbourne hospital after the ute he was driving crashed on the Hume Fwy near Euroa early on Monday, October 2.
Seymour police said SES and CFA crews attended to help free the man from the vehicle, who was reported as having non-life-threatening injuries.
An Ambulance Victoria helicopter landed on the freeway to take the man to the Royal Melbourne Hospital.
An Ambulance Victoria spokesperson said, when airlifted, the man was in a stable condition with an upper-body injury.
Northbound traffic on the Hume Fwy was diverted through Euroa for two hours after the crash, which occurred about 6am.
