The field days, to be held on September 23-25, are the single biggest agricultural event in southern Australia showcasing more than $250 million worth of agricultural and agribusiness machinery and products.
Henty Machinery Field Days chief executive officer Belinda Anderson said the event was experiencing the strongest bookings to date.
The field days drew 830 exhibitors on 1200 sites and representing over 3500 companies in 2024.
Mrs Anderson encouraged any existing and potential exhibitors planning to exhibit at the field days this year to book quickly.
“We currently have sold out of sites larger than 20 x 20 metres – this has never happened before this far out from the field days,” she said.
“While there are plenty of other sizes available, space is becoming limited.
“If you are still thinking it over, get the application in or chances are you will miss out.
“After selling out for the past two years, Henty Machinery Field Days has become to the place to be for the agricultural and agribusiness sector to display their products to domestic and international visitors.”
Mrs Anderson said although seasonal conditions were not favourable, commodity prices remain strong, buoying confidence among exhibitors.
The purpose-built 103ha field day site is the largest in the nation with 14 kilometres of outdoor shop front.
“Now in its 62nd year, Henty is popularly known among exhibitors as being the friendly field days and they enjoy the congenial atmosphere, social networking and opportunity to display their latest products to an engaged audience of around 50,000,” Mrs Anderson said.
“It’s not only our exhibitors who love Henty as past surveys have revealed 78 per cent of visitors have been to the event in previous years an incredible nine times. It is an institution on the farming calendar.”
