Tickets are on sale for the Shepparton Health and Wellbeing Event, presented by Greater Shepparton City Council.
In its third year, the event offers attendees a valuable opportunity to focus on their health and wellbeing.
Partnering with the GV Health Foundation, this year’s event is combined with the inaugural Ladies Who Lunch event on October 29 at Riverlinks Eastbank.
The Health and Wellbeing Event, running from 9am to 4pm, features more than 30 local professionals in health and wellbeing, workshops, talks and demonstrations, along with a tote bag of goodies.
Council team leader of marketing Liz Connick expressed her enthusiasm about the event’s impact.
“The Health and Wellbeing Event is an opportunity to hear from the best in our region ... to level up your physical, mental and spiritual health,” she said.
“Attendees can expect to leave the event feeling ready to live a more fulfilled life.
“Over the past few years we have seen many new and innovative health and wellbeing services open in the region and we look forward to bringing some of these together and showcasing what is on offer in the sector.”
GV Health Foundation and Engagement director Claire Ewart-Kennedy said the Ladies Who Lunch event aimed to raise funds for an integrated cancer centre and dedicated oncology services for women.
“People can start the day by exploring the Health and Wellbeing Event, engage with professional services, specialised talks and workshops, then head into the Ladies Who Lunch event, listen to guest speakers and celebrate with the people who matter most to you,” she said.
For those interested in exhibiting at the Health and Wellbeing Event, applications are open until August 31.
Tickets for the Health and Wellbeing Event are $39.
Tickets for Ladies Who Lunch are $100, and include full access to the Health and Wellbeing Event.
