Three teenagers have now been charged with murder, including the 16-year-old Goulburn Valley boy, a 14-year-old boy from the Hume region and a 15-year-old boy from Craigieburn.
Homicide Squad detectives charged the Goulburn Valley boy on Friday, July 3, after a 15-year-old Mickleham boy was found with stab wounds outside a medical centre on Lygon Dve, Craigieburn, on Wednesday, July 1, at 7.50pm.
CPR was performed by a staff member from the nearby medical centre, but the teenager died at the scene.
The 14-year-old Hume region boy was arrested on Friday night and charged with murder, to appear before a children’s court.
The 15-year-old Craigieburn boy and the 16-year-old Goulburn Valley boy, who were both charged on Friday, will also appear before a children’s court.
A 20-year-old Beveridge man has also been charged with criminal damage by fire and has been bailed to appear at Melbourne Magistrates’ Court in December, while a 15-year-old girl from the Fawkner area will also appear in a children’s court on affray and theft of motor vehicle charges.
The investigation is continuing.
