Benalla’s Tomorrow Today Foundation has received $20,000 from the Rebuilding Futures grant program.
The Foundation for Rural and Regional Renewal and Suncorp Insurance are providing $316,822 in grants to support disaster-affected communities as they continue to recover and consider future preparedness and prevention solutions.
The funding, initiated through the Rebuilding Futures grant program, seeks to support communities affected by disaster events between 2019 and 2024 with community-led projects.
The program encourages communities to build back better to reduce the impact of future disasters on community wellbeing and physical infrastructure.
Water drainage issues will be prevented by installing an improved guttering system on a community facility used for workshops that support family education and wellbeing.
