The word of God is packed with power to set people free from the effects of trauma, shame and guilt.
The word is like a fire and a hammer when applied to past negative events.
Like a fire, it consumes and then like a hammer it breaks into pieces what is left, nullifying the effect of the trauma.
God’s word applied can result in spiritual healing. When a person endures a traumatic event it can lead to deep wounding of the soul.
These events can lead to flash backs, trouble sleeping and many other debilitating side effects.
When the word of God is applied to the traumatic incident, like a fire and a hammer, the effect of the trauma can be neutralised.
After prayer ministry you don’t forget the incident, but the power of it to wreak havoc in your life is extinguished.
You can’t put a bandaid on trauma. To successfully treat it you have to dig out the root cause and then set the person free from all known associations with the trauma. Past trauma can affect your future.
