Funds to aid emergency response

All of the three parties involved in the ‘Roman Ville’ clearing sale - vendors Tony and Judith Thomas, buyers the Brose family and the agents at Elders Deniliquin - came up with one option.

They all saw a way that they could give back to the local Deniliquin community, by way of a donation to the Deniliquin Hospital emergency department.

Elders Deniliquin made a $2000 donation to the department, which was part of the commission funds from the clearing sale at the Moonee Swamp Rd property.

“From farming accidents to personal health problems, each of us has recently required the services of the Deniliquin Hospital, including needing lifesaving emergency responses,” Mr Horne said on behalf of the donors.

“We would all like to acknowledge the professionalism and expertise by providing some additional funding to support them in continuing to save lives.”

Emergency department staff will discuss their wish list with hospital management to determine the best use of the funds, to support the ED team and others who will need the facility now and into the future.
