The winners of the Berrigan Show Society Agshows New South Wales Dryland Field Wheat Farming awards were presented at a dinner on Monday evening.

There were six entrants judged as part of the annual competition, with local winners taking home a ribbon and a $50 Lowes Petroleum voucher.
Judge John Lacey said judging criteria was very specific.
“It is based on the adoption of a very modern disc seeder, and having a much narrower row spacing than is common,” he said.
“We also checked the seeder has the ability to operate in dry and wet soils, and its ability to sow into bigger stubbles and also reduce weed competition.
John has been judging for many years and said, “I love judging, it looks at a different aspect of good yielding crops”.
