The free session will run from noon to 4pm at Shepparton Library on Saturday, July 18 and is open to anyone from ages 12 to 25.
The session is part of a series of events supported by Greater Shepparton City Council that provide a safe and welcoming place for young people to connect, learn new skills and explore creative career pathways.
Nathan James will teach participants the basics of typography, colour and creating visually engaging designs.
River Loizou will help young people explore creating video content by teaching planning, filming and simple editing techniques.
Director healthy communities and liveability Briana Baass said the monthly program would continue to offer a range of creative opportunities.
“Each session will explore a different theme, giving young people practical opportunities to try new skills and learn more about creative industries,” she said.
Sessions will run monthly until November and will explore music, photography, multimedia and more.
