Families looking for excitement and nostalgia these July school holidays are in for a treat.

Cruizin* Diner and The Depot are celebrating their fifth birthdays, but the gifts are for you.

Special deals and discounts will be offered from today, right through until Sunday, July 20.

It seems only fitting that the American-style 1950s inspired Cruizin* Diner’s birthday is on July 4 - America’s Independence Day.

Known for its vibrant retro decor, cosy booth seating, and mouthwatering menu, the diner’s major renovation transformed it into a local icon.

Over the past five years, it has hosted countless birthday parties and family gatherings, drawing visitors who love snapping photos of its nostalgic interior and exterior.

Additional limited-time menu specials will be available only during the celebration period. Check the diner’s Facebook page for details throughout the celebration period.

To mark its fifth birthday, the diner has invested in a new indoor play area. While this will not be ready in time for the start of celebrations today, it will soon be revealed.

Just next door, The Depot celebrated its official fifth birthday in February this year.

It continues to be a family-friendly tourist attraction with something for everyone.

Open 7 days a week from 10am to 4pm, The Depot offers an all-day admission pass, allowing visitors to come and go as they please.

Inside, guests can explore a diverse collection of vehicles from around the globe, each with its own unique story.

From pristine classics to charmingly flawed favourites - each has an interesting story to tell.

The displays are complemented by immersive domestic scenes from the 1940s to 1960s, including recreated kitchens, lounge rooms, and backyards.

Kids will enjoy engaging activities and photo opportunities throughout the venue.

Both popular attractions are open seven days a week, and are located at 158-162 Hardinge St, Deniliquin.
