Cast members have been hard at work bringing the legendary world of Camelot to life, with familiar characters including King Arthur (Lachy McNair), Guinevere (Angeline Daniels), Merlin (Jim Tullberg) and Merlin’s sister Fubsy (Debbie Patterson) already creating plenty of laughs and memorable moments during rehearsals.
Directors and cast alike say the atmosphere has been full of energy, teamwork and fun as performers dive into the adventure, comedy and chaos of the production.
From magical moments with Merlin to sneaky goings on with the evil Magenta (Ella O’Gorman) and her minions, the cast has been enjoying every minute of the rehearsal process.
“We’re having an absolute ball,” Jim Tullberg said.
“There’s a great mix of humour, music and larger-than-life characters, and everyone is really excited to share it with audiences.”
The production promises an entertaining experience for all ages, with plenty of laughs, fabulous music like Shake a Tail Feather, Don’t Stop Me Now and I’m a Believer, plus a talented local cast bringing the story to the stage.
There will be seven performances over two weekends from June 19 to 27.
