The crowds gathered early on a bright, sunny Australia Day to enjoy a free breakfast in the Civic Precinct to start the Australia Day celebrations.
Hundreds of community members came together in good spirit, taking in the smell of the Deniliquin Rotary Club’s egg and bacon rolls, as well as offerings from the food and coffee trucks.
People came together at the Deniliquin Town Hall to celebrate Australia before the beginning of the official Australia Day proceedings organised by Edward River Council and the National Australia Day Committee.
