The event, on Sunday, May 19, will run from 7am to 1pm. Stallholder site entry is $15, car entries for the Show n’ Shine are $10 and general entry to the event is $5.
The swap meet will feature many stalls, including coffee and food carts. The Lions Club of Lockington will also cook breakfast and lunch, and Sweet Sisters Bamawm will have a stall selling cakes, biscuits, and slices.
Vintage cars will begin arriving for the show ‘n’ shine portion of the event at 8am. Visitors will be able to walk around and observe the collection of historic vehicles.
The event falls on National Motoring Heritage Day, which is another reason to check out various cars on display.
Autobarn, Shannons, The Lions Club of Lockington and Campaspe Shire Council are supporting the swap meet.

Event organiser Marg Dowie is excited about the event and the positive effect it will have on the Lockington community.
“We are all very excited. It’s a big event day for Lockington, and we will try to raise as much money as we can to contribute back into the community through other events later in the year,” she said.
“This event puts Lockington on the map for many people who have never heard of the place before.
“People see the ad, become curious and realise it isn’t far from major towns such as Shepparton, Bendigo, and Ballarat.
“Stall holders are prepared to travel, as we’ve had people from Gippsland in years past to go to these events.”
