Amcal Pharmacy short-staffed after quarantine hit

“We talked to the staff this morning and they said they’re a bit more prepared today,” Mr Deo said.

Mr Anderson said the phones had been “crazy” and deliveries had multiplied rapidly since the Shepparton COVID outbreak began.

“There are people calling for deliveries that haven’t had deliveries before,” he said.

“We’re doing our best to serve the community.”

Mr Deo also owns Priceline Pharmacy in Shepparton Marketplace which is in a similar situation.

“There’s normally seven people on the floor there, and there’s only three today,” he said.
