The art of change

The southern end of Victoria Park Lake was awash with light and sound over the weekend as a vast digital artwork was projected on to the north-facing wall of the Shepparton Art Museum.

The Art of Constant Change by Melbourne-based artists Dr Betty Sargeant and Justin Dwyer (aka Plugin-HUMAN) was created using electroencephalogram (EEG) technology to record the artists’ brain activity.

The projection ran for three nights from Friday to Sunday and marked the programmed close of the 25th anniversary Shepparton Festival activities.

However, due to pandemic restrictions announced at the start of June, some events were postponed to a later date.
