Tongala Street Artists have teamed up with the town's op shop to put together a fun activity for the youngsters.
“We have created a great activity to get the kids in the spirit of Easter,” Tongala artist Murray Ross said.
“There are little egg stickers all around town for everyone to find and some even have numbers on them.
“Once the kids have them, they add up the numbers and drop an entry form through the letter box at the op shop for a chance to win the Easter egg hamper.”
Tongala Community Op Shop's Catherine Franklin said they wanted to be a part of the project because it was a great chance to give back to the community.
“Our philosophy at the op shop is to support our community. We feel so supported by all locals and we want to give back where we can,” she said.
“Each year, the op shop donates money to a range of local organisations and causes so it was important for us to support the Tongala Street Artists and this activity.
“Anything that promotes the town and everything in it is a great cause in our eyes.”
Murray said the artists hoped to bring joy to little faces through this activity.
“After the year we had last year, we just want to give the kids something exciting and fun to do.”
Entries for the Easter egg sticker hunt close on Thursday, April 1.
