As part of the nationwide R U OK? Day, the entrance foyer in Shepparton was decked out with activities and information stalls.
Students could make their own stress balls, wellness rocks or even glitter jars, while accessing local mental health support services.
It was organised by student and wellness community volunteer Emily Stevens, who said the day advertised services and worked on relaxation techniques.
"We're incorporating it all with the national R U OK? Day, promoting good mental health," she said.
"It's an extraordinarily chaotic time because you've got your classes, assignments, work and social life, and it's really hard to balance all that and it can get a bit much.
"As a student, I know how hard these things are."
The services that attended included UnitingCare and FamilyCare.
