The young squad are taking part in the McDonald's 2km Kids Dash around Shepparton's Victoria Park Lake on Sunday, August 25.
The family-friendly race is partnering with local charity #voice4kidz, which raises money for the Goulburn Valley Centre Against Sexual Assault.Shepparton Running Festival organiser Liz Connick said the event is a fun way to raise money for local charities.
“Our community is fantastic the way that we can have these collaborations,” Ms Connick said.
#voice4kidz partnered with the event because the race will be a safe environment for children to have fun in.
Shepparton Running Festival is encouraging participants of the race to dress up as their favourite superhero.
Children who take part in the race will have the opportunity to hang out with Ditto the Bear and take part in other activities.
The Kids Dash is one of five different races that make up the Shepparton Running Festival.
