Two men, including the son of disgraced former NSW Labor minister Eddie Obeid, have admitted giving false or misleading evidence to the state's corruption watchdog.
Moses Obeid and Rocco Triulcio pleaded guilty in the NSW District Court on Monday afternoon as a trial approached.
After morning discussions between lawyers, a fresh indictment was presented by Crown prosecutor Sally Traynor.
"For completeness, the basis of the new indictment and agreed facts represent what the crown has agreed in the agreed facts to be a rolled up or a compendious false statement," Ms Traynor said.
Both men pleaded guilty to two counts of giving false or misleading evidence to a public inquiry.
The charges relate to statements they gave to the Independent Commission Against Corruption in 2012 about the purchase and sale of a Honda CR-V.
Obeid will face a sentencing hearing in August while Triulcio's separate hearing will be held in September.
