Homicide Squad detectives are investigating after a woman was stabbed to death, with a man known to the victim arrested.

Officers were called to a home in Coleraine, in regional Victoria, about 340km west of Melbourne just after 1am on Saturday following reports a woman had been stabbed.
She died at the scene.Â
Police arrested a man known to her, and he is being interviewed by officers about the incident.
