A man and a teenage boy have been found dead with gunshot wounds at a home in Yamba in NSW's Northern Rivers region.
Police were called to the property at Kookaburra Circuit about 1.10pm on Thursday to find the bodies of a 58-year-old man and 15-year-old boy.
"Initial inquiries indicate the 58-year-old man was a licensed firearms holder and detectives have requested his licensing history from the NSW Firearms Registry," police said in a statement.
Police do not believe a third party was involved and a report will be prepared for the coroner.
