A man in his 80s has died with COVID-19 in the Northern Territory, taking the toll since the start of the pandemic to 16.
SecureNT says the man had underlying health conditions and died in the Alice Springs Hospital.
Also on Tuesday, the Territory reported another 716 new virus infections.
There are currently 123 patients in hospital with the disease with three of those in intensive care.
Active cases across the Territory stand at 5754.
