WHAT do you want to be when you grow up?
That was the question for more than 100 year nine students from both St Augustine’s College and Kyabram P-12 College last week.
They were given the opportunity to explore what the answer could be with 20 different career options presented to them at the Kyabram industry day.
The aim was to give students the opportunity to connect with local businesses and enter into some thought-provoking conversations around career choices.
The guest list included some familiar local faces, including staff from the Kyabram District Health Services, M and S Accounting, Advance Computing, Dawes and Vary Riordan and Farrier Vet.
“The day was a real success in creating connections for students and industry and many students commented in their feedback how much they enjoyed the two schools joining together,” Campaspe Cohuna structured workplace learning co-ordinator Jacq Campbell said.
