Saddle up for the 2023 Victorian State Showjumping Titles. The three-day event will showcase the prowess of riders vying for four prestigious Victorian titles. With interstate riders in the mix, spectators are assured to witness top-tier talent. Beyond the arena, there are equine retail trade stands and food stalls on-site.
When: November 17 to 19, from 7.30am to 5.30pm each day

Giant Charity Garage Sale
Soroptimist International of Shepparton has sifted through six months’ worth of donations, and now the Giant Charity Garage Sale is on. Over two weekends, buyers can browse through toys, clothes, furniture, antiques and more. All funds raised go towards Shepparton charities. Both cash and card payments accepted.
When: November 16 to 18 and November 23 to 25. On Thursdays and Fridays, it will open from 9am to 4pm, and on Saturdays from 8.30am to 4pm.

Open studio and art sale
The Tatura Creative Artists invite all to their open studio to witness an array of artworks and craft items, each a testament to the talented group members. The event also doubles as a unique Christmas shopping opportunity as everything is on sale. While the inside boasts inspiration, outside a coffee van awaits to offer refreshments.

Item of Connection
Photographer Cam Matheson knows a picture can be worth 1000 words. His new project An Item of Connection demonstrates that. The portrait series invites locals to share their stories and experiences of the 2022 October floods by having their photo taken with an object representing their experience. The 2024 Shepparton Festival will display the photographs in an exhibition.

Carnival Day
Carnival Day, the crown jewel of the OUTintheOPEN Festival, is back. There’ll be no shortage of celebration of LGBTIQA+ pride and community diversity with a rainbow of stalls and markets, the immersive Queer Museum, face painting, live music and interactive games – truly something for every member of the family to enjoy. BYO picnic blanket or chair. Carnival Day has a no glass policy and is a drug-free event.

Neffy's Walk
A powerful memorial candlelight walk is coming to Shepparton this Saturday. In honour of loved ones lost to suicide, Neffy’s Walk invites all to join them in a suicide prevention walk around Victoria Park Lake. Attendees may wish to bring a candle or purchase one at the event. Let’s light up the night with their memory.
