Construction has now begun on Stage 4A, which will add eight new classrooms, collaboration zones, and staff workspaces to support the school’s increasing Foundation to Year 12 enrolments.
“We are no stranger to seeing the facilities here at St Anne’s College grow,” St Anne’s College principal Anthony Butts said.
“St Anne’s College provides the only secondary learning in south Shepparton and we are likely to be at capacity in Year 7 and Foundation in 2026,” Mr Butts said.
“After opening in 2019, our facilities continue to expand, accommodating our growing enrolments.
“We know this expansion is going to provide yet another welcoming and calming environment for our students that St Anne’s College is known for.”
Since its opening in 2019, the college has expanded steadily, adding two year levels each year and extending its campus in line with enrolment growth. Last year marked its first cohort of Year 12 graduates, and 2025 is the first year the school offers a full Foundation to Year 12 program.
As one of 65 low-fee Catholic and independent schools to benefit from the Victorian Government’s $450 million Building Fund, St Anne’s College secured $3.6 million for its $5.6 million Stage 4A expansion, with the remaining $2 million covered by the school community.
Construction will be carried out by Shepparton-based Moretto Building, which has delivered all stages of the college to date, based on designs by Beechworth architect Dr Ken Woodman.
