The Shepparton Brass and Wind concert band promises to captivate audiences at two shows coming up in Katandra West and Murchison.

The performances are a part of the Riverlinks In Your Town series which is a community-focused initiative that strives to bring entertainment beyond the main performing arts centres and directly into town halls across the municipality.

The local concert band members said they were thrilled to be part of the innovative project and to share their musical prowess with these communities.

Riverlinks manager Matthew Schroeders emphasized the unique opportunity the In Your Town series provides for residents to experience live music and entertainment outside of the Riverlinks main venues.

"In Your Town allows people to enjoy the cultural richness and vibrancy of live performances right in their own neighbourhood,“ he said.

“It's an outstanding chance for families to come together, immerse themselves in the sounds of a live brass band."
