Slater will officially name his side for Game I on Monday morning, after a Sunday evening meeting with selectors Darren Lockyer and Gene Miles.

Parramatta forward J'maine Hopgood is the only realistic chance of earning a maiden jersey for Queensland, after being part of last year's extended squad.
Otherwise, it is anticipated Queensland will take 16 other players with Origin experience into the June 5 series opener.
It comes with Queensland in a period of stability not seen since the days when Slater was a mainstay of the Maroons squad.
Queensland were forced to debut only two players in last year's series win, with Reece Walsh getting his maiden jersey in Game I and Corey Horsbugh in Game III.
Last year's series marked the least Queensland debutants since 2014, when two also debuted.
Slater still has several crucial decisions to make.
AAP has been told David Fifita will be dropped for Game I, despite the Gold Coast wrecking-ball being among the most destructive forwards in the game.
Fifita was the Titans' best in their victory over Brisbane on Sunday, but that did little to win over Slater and the Maroons selectors.
Tom Dearden is expected to get the nod ahead of Ezra Mam as Cameron Munster's replacement at No.6, after previously playing one game for the Maroons in 2022.
Slater must also choose between Selwyn Cobbo, Murray Taulagi and Xavier Coates for two wing spots, with the option to play one of the three on the bench.Â
