The Dolphins take on the Storm at Suncorp Stadium on Saturday night with both teams on 14 points and inside the top eight.
It will be Munster's first game against the Dolphins since turning down Bennett and inking an extension with the Storm.
Any angst between Munster and Bennett for not moving north, and not letting the coach know he wasn't coming before his re-signing with the Storm, appears to have dissipated.
"We've had a conversation and it's all good. We've moved on," Bennett said.
Bennett has got the best out of rookie half Isaiya Katoa and reborn No.6 Kodi Nikorima.
Sean O'Sullivan was on fire before rupturing a pectoral while former Brisbane playmaker Anthony Milford has had nice touches in his limited appearances.
"We didn't get all the players we wanted here but the ones that did want to come have made a real fist of it,:" Bennett said.
"Kodi has been tremendous for us. Isaiya is doing a great job and Sean O'Sullivan was doing that. Anthony Milford has been good for us.
"We have some players here who might not be regarded as superstars of the game but they are doing a great job for us."
Milford will come off the bench against the Storm as he did in the 36-16 win over Cronulla on return from a hamstring injury.
"Kodi has earned his spot at the moment and has played really well. I am just not going to make that change. I want to give them all a bit of confidence and belief so that if you do the job you will be rewarded."
Centre Brenko Lee returns from a calf injury in place of cult hero Valynce Te Whare who scored a double on debut against the Sharks.
Bennett said it wasn't a difficult decision to make.
He said when a player like Lee does a great job and gets an injury they deserve to be put back in the team when they are fit.
Bennett said not doing so was fraught with danger.
"Then they won't tell you about their injuries. They'll start hiding them. They'll start masking them and lying to you. There has got to be a bit of trust on both sides," Bennett said.
"Valynce is a project right now. He might get eight or ten games this year. If he does that it will set him up for next year. The pros know how to get the job done every week and the young blokes learn that process.
"That's what Valynce will do this year and there are four or five in that category."
Bennett said Lee was "a real centre".
"A lot of modern day centres can't do what he can with the football and the decision making that he can make, so it is a bit of a throwback to the older days when the centres were very much like Brenko," he said.
