Brent Naden has joined Trent Barrett in the exit lounge at struggling NRL club Canterbury, granted an immediate release to join Wests Tigers on a two-year deal.

The 26-year-old, who joined the Bulldogs at the end of the 2021 season from Penrith, made just eight appearances for Canterbury and is a chance to face his former club this Friday after being named in the Tigers squad on Tuesday.
Barrett quit as the club's head coach on Monday after a disappointing start to the 2022 campaign with the Bulldogs last on the ladder with just two wins from 10 matches.
Naden is tipped to be the first of many to follow Barrett out of Belmore.
