Ahead of the bottom of the table contest, there are wholesale changes to the Stars' line-up, with a host of their players freed from COVID quarantine including star spinner and fill-in captain Adam Zampa.
Other additions include Beau Webster, Joe Clarke and Nathan Coulter-Nile, while Marcus Stoinis remains out despite clearing quarantine.
They will also miss captain Glenn Maxwell, who got COVID after the Stars' last match, a five-wicket loss to the Melbourne Renegades on January 3.
Meanwhile, the Strikers are dealing with COVID problems of their own, with batter Matt Renshaw missing after a positive test.
They regain Ryan Gibson who hasn't played since Adelaide's first game of the season, where he did a hamstring.
The Strikers are seventh on the BBL table, with only tonight's opponent below them.
