West Indies all-rounder Matthew Forde equalled AB de Villiers' record for the fastest one-day international half-century before the match against Ireland in Dublin was abandoned due to rain.

Forde reached 50 in 16 deliveries, matching the feat set by South Africa's De Villiers in 2015, and struck eight sixes and two fours in a 19-ball 58 as West Indies racked up 8-352 off their 50 overs on Friday.
Keacy Carty had earlier hit 13 fours and a maximum on his way to a relatively-sedate 102 off 109 deliveries and with skipper Shai Hope and Justin Greaves chipping in with 49 and 44 not out respectively, the tourists notched a hefty total.
