The 15-man party for next month's three-match ODI series against England includes the return of Shane Dowrich and two uncapped players, batting allrounder Sherfane Rutherford and seam bowler Matthew Forde.
Wicketkeeper-batter Dowrich made the last of his 35 Test appearances at the end of 2020, and has only played once for West Indies in white-ball cricket. He has, though, impressed in the recent domestic Super50 Cup competition.
Shai Hope will again captain, with Alzarri Joseph named as the new vice-captain. Nicholas Pooran and Jason Holder were unavailable for selection as they prioritise the upcoming five-match IT20 series with the same opposition, which begins on December 12.
"We expect this to be a hard-fought series, but we also believe this squad will do well in our home conditions. We have a clear vision," lead selector Desmond Haynes said.
"We are focused on building a solid team. Our main focus is to re-build for success at the ICC Cricket World Cup 2027."
England, seeking to rebuild after a disastrous World Cup, have already named heir squad, retaining captain Jos Buttler but few others from their Indian nightmare. The series starts on December 3 in Antigua.
