Over the weekend, Shepparton export Grace Egan continued her good run of form for Richmond, helping the Tigers to a 10-point win over Carlton on Friday night.
An impressive 18 disposals and eight tackles were the highlights of Egan’s performance, with the 22-year-old following a two-goal, 18-disposal performance against West Coast last time out.
Benalla export Keeley Skepper also featured in this game; however, her one-goal and one-point performance was unable to get her side over the line.
The win puts Richmond in prime position for a finals berth, building an eight-point gap between them and ninth placed Gold Coast.
Another team in line to have a premiership tilt is Geelong, with the Cats also moving eight points clear after downing West Coast by nine points.
An impressive 14-disposal, five-tackle performance from Benalla’s Becky Webster stood out for the hoops, while fellow Cats Annabel Johnson (Echuca) and Becky Webster (Benalla) both had over 10 disposals.

Elsewhere, Shepparton’s Angela Foley performed well for Port Adelaide as the Power fell to North Melbourne, while in NSW, Sophie Locke (Seymour) and Tamara Smith (Mooroopna) featured for Hawthorn as the Hawks went down to Greater Western Sydney by a point.
