Shepparton Brass and Wind perform regularly in the community, with up to 30 members aged from 10 to 70.
Shepparton Brass and Wind secretary Leona Gibbs said the packed program, which will start at 2.30pm, had something for everyone.
"We are playing the four songs from our recent performance in the State Band Championships in Ballarat, where we placed first in our section,” Ms Gibbs said.
Riverlinks venues manager Ken Cameron said: “This is great way to experience the beauty of brass and wind music, which showcases local talent.”
The compositions and artists include: Barnard Castle — Goff Richard; On A Hymnsong of Philip Bliss — David H. Holsinger; It Had Better Be Tonight, Henry Mancini arrangement — Michael Brown; and Driven — David P. Jones.
Solo performances include: Illuminations — saxophone solo; All Those Endearing Young Charms — euphonium solo; A Trumpeter’s Lullaby — trumpet solo; Romance — French horn solo; L-O-V-E — vocal solo; and In A Gentle Rain — flute solo.
The concert will be rounded out with some crowd favourites, including Glenn Miller in Concert — arrangement Paul Murtha; Sing, Sing, Sing — Louis Prima arrangement Victor Lopez; Fanfare for the Common Man — Aaron Copland arrangement Robert Longfield.
“Our community partnerships remain a key focus for the Riverlinks Music Season this year, so we are excited to be working with Shepparton Brass and Wind to present a concert that celebrates local talent,” Mr Cameron said.
