Nido childcare centres in Donvale, Craigieburn, Ascot Vale and Glenroy were also listed as exposure sites.
Shepparton now has 12 active cases across six separate households.
“One of these new cases, one is linked to a person that has tested positive for COVID-19 in recent days,” GV Health chief executive Matt Sharp said.
“However, two new cases from a separate household are not linked to existing cases while the other new case is not linked and is from a different household.”
Mr Sharp said more cases had emerged on Thursday that would be included in Friday’s figures.
Victoria’s coronavirus case load soared on Thursday, with 1438 new locally acquired cases.
The spike correlates to AFL grand final weekend and Premier Daniel Andrews said it was clear from contact tracing interviews that the surge was “completely avoidable”.
“Actual interviews tell us that many hundreds of people, perhaps thousands of people, have made some choices that meant they’re not spending time in their own home but they’re spending time in someone else’s home,” he said.
“I know it’s difficult, we are all longing for that personal connection and to spend time with each other and get back to normal, but pretending the rules don’t apply to you and thinking I’ll be fine and I won’t catch this and won’t give it to others, well the data and the facts tell a different story.”
Victoria's COVID-19 response commander Jeroen Weimar said the case numbers on Thursday were a “significant setback”, but he urged weary Victorians not to drop their guard with cases now appearing in every Melbourne suburb.
“We need to buy time to stop transmission now,” he said.
The Victorian Government has confirmed the interval between Pfizer vaccine doses will be reduced from six weeks to three weeks from October 4, accelerating the path to 70 and 80 per cent full vaccination.
Changes to the online booking system will be made on October 3 and second doses will be able to be brought forward.
“What that means is over the next few weeks, we will be able to have more and more people get not just one dose, but in fact, complete the vaccination process with two doses,” Mr Andrews said.
