He held one of the 12 division one-winning entries in TattsLotto draw 4295, which was drawn on Saturday, September 17, and will take home a total of $467,245.12.
The winner, who wished to remain anonymous, told officials from The Lott he had a couple of ideas in mind for his prize, including an overseas holiday.
“That’s unbelievable! What a way to start my new week, and on a Monday too,” he said.
“I’ve chosen to play this set of random numbers for a couple of months now. It’s a regular entry that I have on repeat.
“I’m not too sure why I chose these numbers in the first place, but they’ve obviously worked in my favour.”
The man, who hadn’t checked his ticket and was delighted by the call, said an overseas holiday and saving for the future were what he’d consider using the money for.
His winning System 10 entry was purchased online at thelott.com — the official home of Australia’s lotteries.
The winning numbers in TattsLotto draw 4295 on September 17 were 4, 25, 23, 7, 21, 9, while the supplementary numbers were 6 and 11.
Across Australia, there were 12 division one-winning entries: five in Victoria, four in Queensland, two in NSW and one in Tasmania.
